Realtor & Business Sponsors

Realtors and other businesses enrolling in the Carthay Magnet Sponsorship Program sponsor important programs at the Carthay School of Environmental Studies. The PTA thanks Carthay Sponsors through a variety of channels, including this website, email blasts, Facebook posts, banners outside the school, flyer distributions, and more.

Special thanks to Ned Brown, who helped sponsor Carthay's Garden Science Program in 2014-2017.

Morgan Real Estate and Ned Brown are also sponsors for 2014-2017 of the Carthay School Community Park, with supervised play on the school playground every Sunday from 11am-4pm.

To learn more about the Carthay PTA Sponsor Program, download the Sponsorship Program Description, or contact Tyson Roberts.

Ned Brown, Teles Properties

Ned Brown of Teles Properties has been selling homes in Carthay for over a decade, and in 2004, became a charter member of Carthay Elementary's Realtor Sponsor Program.  Recognizing the direct correlation in any given neighborhood between the success or failure of its local school and residents' quality of life (and home values), this participation has afforded him the unique opportunity ever since to give back to Carthay by contributing to its continued revitalization.

To this end, Carthay's recent move toward environmental studies is certain to be impactful.  Ned is honored to be able to sponsor the Garden Science Program (although his own gardening skills are completely non-existent).  He likes to imagine the program as training future stewards of the planet - environmentally conscious soon-to-be adults, armed with the skills, knowledge and passion to repair the missteps of his ozone depleting generation.

Ned is thrilled as well to see Carthay's yard opening to the community on Sundays, and looks forward to garden workshops to get his hands dirty, along with the school, neighborhood residents, wife Jennifer and daughter Annika - and to possibly acquiring that missing green thumb.

Morgan Pasco, Morgan Real Estate

Morgan Pasco, an alum of Carthay Center Elementary, is the owner of Morgan Real Estate (MRE) currently located in Wilshire Vista.  A Los Angeles native with deep roots in the Westside community, Morgan understands that owning a home changes lives and that happy homeowners create flourishing communities. MRE's culture of integrity, client advocacy and community sensibility keeps clients coming back again and again. MRE's culture and Carthay Magnet's socially responsible curriculum are perfectly aligned with a vision to help the community learn how to improve the quality of their lives for themselves and future generations.

Morgan & MRE are also pleased to be part of bringing Sunday in the Park to the community and its families.  As a parent of three active 8 year old triplets, Morgan understands all to well how important physical activity and outdoor play time is to the health and well being of our children.    See you in the Park!
